Welcome to our shop! We offer handmade items for use in and around the house. They range from a double sided picture frame which will hold two photos back to back to a custom collage picture frame that can hold, well, you decide! They also range from mini cutting boards to huge edge grain carving boards and all sizes in between. Some of our products are like pieces of art meant only for display, and other products are beautiful, but intended to be functional, as well. In all, we strive to create products that you will be proud to own and will last you for a very long time.
We believe in keeping things as local as possible. The wood that we use is grown and sourced locally. We steer away from using exotic woods in favor of homegrown sources.
Don't see what you need (or want)? Gerry does custom woodworking in addition to our stock products. For example, you may want a custom picture frame collage that will hold different sizes of photos, perhaps even in different orientations. It is likely that we can create a design for you. Missy and Gerry Tresler
This shop is a natural offshoot of Gerry's initial profession. He was a General Contractor for building and remodeling homes for over 40 years. He offered custom cabinetry building, so he had a woodshop. He had added to and grown his woodshop over the years to the point where it was ready for him to make the switch from remodeling homes to working on items, such as collage frames, for this shop. He has always been the go-to guy for family and friends. If it is made out of wood, then Gerry can make it! Make it he has, and in the process he has discovered a natural talent and interest for all things wood.
I am happy to say that we truly enjoy the work we do. As Gerry always likes to say, "I make sawdust". He does help me with other aspects of the selling process when I need it, but overall, it is a great division of labor!
Gerry is the reason for the existence of this shop. He is the artist behind every idea. He is the designer for the construction of every item. And naturally, he is the woodworker who makes it happen! I am lucky to be married to such a talented and wonderful man!
